That’s right, it’s January - time for starting the year fresh, setting resolutions, and planning goals for the coming year. Why should running a manufacturing or industrial facility be any different? Why shouldn’t we establish plans for improvement for our physical plant just like we would set goals for revenue and capital expenditures?

With the new year on the horizon, IMOCO Inc. will be experiencing a shift that will lend itself to positive growth and change! Rodney Pressley, who worked for the corporation since 1987 and then purchased it from Charles Collins in 2006, is now passing the torch on to his son-in-law, Geoff Bagwell. He is proud of what the company has collectively accomplished over the last 13 years, including acquiring property and ultimately building the framework and buildings that create the strong company as it is known today.

For over 30 years, IMOCO Inc. has been a proud partner to Kimberly-Clark, a multinational personal care brand that encompasses many well-known products, including Kleenex, Cottonelle and Scott.

Working Mother, a well-known magazine dedicated to women pursuing both families and their careers, has named Kimberly-Clark one of 2019’s Best 100 Companies. They have been recognized for their dedication to providing an environment for working mothers in which they have all of the resources necessary to care for their families, from paid time off to flextime and beyond.

IMOCO Inc. has recently hired a new General Manager, Jake Foster, who is ready to bring his skill set to the IMOCO Inc. workplace and culture.  Jake is an honorably discharged U.S. Navy veteran. After the Navy, has gained extensive experience in glass, steel, and oil industries, including production and construction.

The potential dangers of noise in the workplace

An estimated 22 million workers are exposed to potentially damaging workplace noise. This fact was reported in a U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration paper entitled “Occupational Noise Exposure.”
