IMOCO prides itself on meeting our clients’ needs in every phase of industrial and mechanical contracting. As one of our Project Managers, Phillip Sechler brings the versatility of experience needed to provide our clients with unrivaled process piping and equipment installation services.

Having started his career in the energy industry almost 20 years, Phillip built expertise in oil & gas systems like power generation and cooling supplies. When he joined IMOCO, he switched to the manufacturing side of things. Whether he’s overseeing utility process piping for applications like potable water, cooling water, or compressed gas, or core process piping for liquid polymers or finishing solutions, Phillip always makes sure the job gets done on-budget and on-time. Recently, he guided the installation of every piping system in a plant that manufactures military-grade threads for combat boots/back packs, as well as the car mats for a global vehicle manufacturer.

What sets Phillip on another level as a Project Manager, however, is that he so often leads the way for equipment installations. About a quarter of IMOCO’s jobs are shutdown type work, and Phillip says that what puts IMOCO above the rest in this regard is the sense of urgency in our field personnel. While other contractors are often late on projects, Phillip and his crew never miss a deadline. On every job that Phillip has worked where the client hasn’t yet built up a maintenance team, they will ask IMOCO to handle maintenance from the get-go. Building clients relationships like this is a huge part of IMOCO’s success for the past 50+ years.

Thanks to employees like Phillip, IMOCO remains the number one industrial construction contractor throughout Western North Carolina and into South Carolina and Georgia.
